At the end of the 2009-2010 season, the Beckinfield High School football stadium was demolished to make way for the new stadium. Unfortunately, construction fell behind and wasn’t completed in time for the start of the new season. The football team, the Snarling Beagles, had to play the majority of their games as the visiting team that year. Construction was completed just in time for the final game of the 2010-2011 season.

Blondie’s has been at the center of many important events in Beckinfield since it opened; it was home base for the cleanup operation following the great storm of 2011 and all search efforts were organized there when teen Rose Banter went missing later that year. Town founder Bradford Beckin once owned this land and used it as a cornfield. Bradford died of a freak lightning strike while working in the field in 1894. In recent years, it served as the Beckinfield Junior High School's soccer field and their coed team, the Puppies, played on it. Unfortunately, the soccer field was destroyed in January 2011 when an earthquake rocked the town. The large crescent-shaped fissure left in the field was later paved over and the area was turned into a basketball court, but mysterious events continue to happen at the site.

Due to the fact that it seems to be plagued by accidents, most of the buildings in New Beckinfield were wired with a sophisticated state-of-the-art alarm system in 2010. Many of the mysterious and creepy back roads in Beckinfield weave their way to neighboring towns. However they have not been repaved since they were first constructed in the 1940s. Street signs have long since fallen over and most of the roads remain unmarked. It is rumored that hundreds of people have taken these roads never to return.
In reality only three people have gone missing on these roads and even those “disappearances” are shady.
